DOT BAT – Breath Alcohol Technician Certification (RBT IV/VXL)

This course is available for the RBT IV/Alco-Sensor or Alco-Sensor VXL and qualifies students for both DOT initial BAT training and DOT BAT refresher training. This course includes:
- 49 CFR Part 40 Rules & Regulations online Computer Based Training
- Instrument Proficiency orientation online Computer Based Training
- 7 in person mock tests via web cam with an instructor
- Quality Assurance Plan instruction
- Accuracy Check instruction
The student will be given an online module to listen and pass the online test. Once they have successfully completed the online course self-study components a time will be scheduled wtih Brenda Calvert, an Intoximeters Trainer to monitor the student performing 7 error-free mock alcohol collections. For this portion of the class you must have a working EBT instrument with a printer, a valid (not expired) dry gas tank, and federal alcohol testing forms (ATFs).
